It's good to be the king...
Very, VERY wet.....

RAIN, RAIN, RAIN

UK sucks doesn't it? This is the festival season damn it!

What Becks said. It was hot & humid today. Perfect day to mow the lawn, we thought. Pretty much knocked both of us out.

Well, hell, if I'd realized how humid it was, I wouldn't have suggested it. Holy biscuit.
(not to single you folks out just because I'm quotin' y'all. Just usin' y'all for example)

Guys and Gals,
If it's hot and humid outside, please try and avoid physical exertion outside - unprotected. You're gonna lose fluid from the heat and the sweat ain't gonna dry off - so now you're hot AND dehydrated.

Perfect pre-conditions to induce heart palpitations and what not.

A word of friendly advice,
If you MUST to "out side work" - please ***** plenty of non alcoholic/decaffeinated beverages (water is the best). And wear a hat.

The last patient I had was a 34 year old who triggered a heart ****** because he was out plucking weeds on his lawn. The dehydration over-stimulated his heart which eventually led to ischemia, muscle damage and a heart ******.

I ain't kiddin'.

Be careful out there folks...

Today it was fucking HOT! They said on the radio that it would be 111 degrees (or, for our non-American friends, 44 Celsius) today. What sucks is that during this heat wave I have to house sit for my *** while she's away, and she happens to live in one of the hottest cities around here. Plus, to put the icing on the cake, the AC doesn't work. 2 nights ago it was 93 degrees (33 Celsius) in my room at 2:30 in the morning! The fan didn't do ****. All it did was blow hot air around the room. :helpme:

For everyone in the UK complaining about how terrible it is to have rain, I'll trade places with you for a few days. I'd be as happy as a pig in **** if it was raining where I'm at.

humidity out here in the carolinas is rudiculous around this time of year, but the super-mild winters we have here totally make up for it..:D

Surprisingly, we are having a great summer here in Chicago. Not too hot and humid, but as we get closer to the end of July and August, the heat and humidity will return.

Grey then sun, then grey then sun, then grey then sun, then grey then sun, then grey then sun, then grey then sun.................................................now grey but will probably get sunny then go grey then go dark.

Take a Hit, Spunker!
It's actually nice here today

Heavy rain which turns into a storm, dark clouds sweeping across the sky, then the cold wind blows in off the Atlantic - all in all a typical British summers day. ;)
